The 11th Annual Motorcycle Poker Run
On a perfect motorcycle day, 405 participants showed up for the Unions for Kids 11th Annual Motorcycle Poker Run and Chili Cook-off.
First and foremost, the reason we exist – $64,000 for the kids!
The 2013 Heritage Softail was won by Christine Smith of Milwaukie, Oregon, pictured center shaking hands with Lee Duncan. Her mom, pictured on the left, came along to check out the new bike. Christine is a member of IATSE Local 28.
The Chili Cook-off was won by IBEW Local 48. Ric Flores is Chili chef extraordinaire.
The highest single Union contribution for the year was United Brotherhood of Carpenters, Local 156 with $5,000 dollars!!!
The highest private (corporate) contribution was again Columbia Motorcycle Harley Davidson with $3,500!!!
Our US Navy Color Guard was comprised of:
Petty Officer 1st Class Arriba, Honolulu, Hawaii
Petty Officer 2nd Class Rodriguez, Salem, Oregon
Petty Officer 2nd Class Hademeon, Togo, Africa
Petty Officer 3 Class Olivo, Bronx, New York.
The National Anthem was beautifully performed by Crystal Lariza(pictured center).

Our 3rd Annual Date for Doernbecher
The Normal Sylvester Band had everyone dancing at the Midnight Roundup Saloon and Eatery in Gresham. Thanks to Flora Olander and Michael G for providing photos of this awesome evening of entertainment and fundraising.
